sweet, sweet dreams gone away 
in the moonless night you chose to stay 
the skies were blue, the starts not so bright 
wallowing me cold, shuddering to fight.   

gone, gone sweet words of wisdom 
the strong current of life wringing me down 
O life, where art thou going, where am I? 
leave me to where my heart is, be kind.

despair not, O love of my desire 
cast another glance, this we have to bear 
listen to the unspeakable words, the silent feeling 
hidden in the bosom of life, waiting.
